The textiles created for “Under Over” are intended for home interiors, offering a bright and contemporary take on the woven wall tapestry. The collection of woven textiles made from hand-made recycled paper yarn together with a vibrant colour palette is inspired by the psychedelic movement of the 1960s and 70s.

Paper materials such as party streamers and newspaper are reconstituted, painted and then spun into a yarn by hand using a drop spindle. Using a basket weave structure on a tapestry loom the paper yarn is then transformed to create circular weavings.
