My piece reflects my project statement being ‘to create a garment using patchwork and joining techniques. To utilise unfinished edges and opposing fabrics’. I made this tunic using scrap fabric and a overlocker. I created the ombre effect using multiple different colours and fabric types to create a vastly different yet cohesive piece. I chose to join my pieces using an overlocker as I like the finished yet unfinished look it gives the final piece.
