For this project my aim was to gain an awareness of the amount of wool that goes to waste combined with its impact on the environment. This lead to a project where I used old scraps of wool to create a wearable garment that could then be used for multiple purposes after its lifetime, encouraging a closed loop fashion cycle. My final garment is versatile through it’s design and I have also considered designing for disassembly. This project has made me think about how we can transform waste and repurpose it with innovative thinking into something desirable, causing much less harm for people and planet.
