Perforated Profusion

The geometrically designed quadrant of cloth engages the senses to create a unique experience when interacting with the swatch as either an artwork or garment. The way the owner interacts with the swatch and the environment it is placed in create and shape the experience associated with the swatch, where a new interaction may be created each time. The senses of sight, touch and smell are stimulated by the swatch and the environment the swatch is placed in supplies sound. Triangles of wash away stabiliser fabric are added to the swatch as well as Mola triangles. There are hole-punched triangular areas, imitating the look of laser cutting and bio plastic sequins dropped directly onto the fabric that are scented.
