I wanted to challenge myself with this project, I wanted to prove that despite what I saw in the media and retail around me, reuse fashion could be aesthetically attractive to the youth. For too long, the target of sustainability wear has been towards an older generation who can afford the high price. For too long, the colours have been dull and dystopian. Here, I present the vivaciously colourful alternative to this. Made of fabric offcuts this matching bandeau style halter neck top and handbag make for a youthful take on sustainability; making it undeniably chic.
