The Cruella Evolving collection focuses on Cruella growing up and finding the confidence to become the villainous queen that we know. The collection features Punk aesthetic however in a glamorous and elegant aesthetic, camp shapes, kitsch accessories, and inspiration from the original film. The first outfit is the school uniform transformed which focuses on the transformation of older school clothes into an innovative, sustainable, and unique outfit. The chosen garment is the concert outfit which focuses on Cruella exploring DIY processes. It is made up of two dresses, the first is made up of two layers of tulle and one layer of lining. Gelatine, water, and food dye were mixed to create the handmade pattern on the tulle. The second dress is used to shape the first one and has a hand drawn pattern. The kitsch lips belt and bag were hand painted, both and the second dress all use metallic silver buckles to secure them. The handmade gloves that were inspired from the original film with fake nails glued on for a claw like effect. The three-layered mask adds a modern appeal which has been created in the same pattern as the second dress.
