Theme/mood imagery
Design 1 – The bodice is created with draped mesh fabric creating the gathered look along the side of the body and adding contrast to the garment. The shorts underneath are made from leather to add to the punk aesthetic worn with slightly torn stocking. The mesh cape like structure is made from the same mesh however is covered in hand strayed painted arrows.
Design 2 – This design was chosen for the prototype and consists of 3 garments to make the outfit. There is a top bottom and corset bodice. The top and skirt both are made from fishnet with attached spray painted mesh held together with metal rings adding to the punk look. The bottoms are pants with the mesh wrapping around and creating a skirt structure. The corset leotard is made with both cording and boning with a clear contrast stitch.
