Denin Reuse

My project statement is ‘How can I reuse denim to prolong its life’. This exhibition is based on the harmful environmental factors that fast fashion denim creates. Denim uses vast amounts of energy and resources to be manufactured, however jeans and other denim products are being mass prodyced in fast fashion brands and thus ends up in landfill due to the poor quality or quick change over in trends. This results in not only lots of resources being wasted but also adds to the evergrowing textile waste going to landfill every year.
