I have always had a strong connection with the environment, and so I constructed a garment that would express this connection. I explore an idealistic relationship between humans and the environment by mimicking the bulbous and abstract forms of fungi and boulders, examining how these can interact and fit with the human body. I chose to express this idea through the use of discarded nylon stockings, wool and calico. My artefact intends to create an awareness in viewers that the connections shared between human and plant should be built upon, and in a broader sense, humans should form a more harmonious relationship with the environment in which they live.
