My goal for this design project was to create a resolved prototype outcome where I will give a new, redesigned life to old and unwanted materials. The main fabric I chose to incorporate throughout my project was denim. It is a durable fabric that has great longevity. When formed into a garment, it often creates a timeless staple piece in your wardrobe. I looked at practical yet creative methods of merging denim (sourced from old clothing) with leftover, water-based, dried out paint which would otherwise end up in the landfill.
