For my assignment I wanted to deconstruct old and unbearable garments that would be considered as waste to create them into new garments. Both of my garments were created out of items of clothing that I already had and no longer wore. For the top I was inspired by the patchwork activity we did in week 11, which I then created a mini top. I also experimented with paint on clothing. I did this as I had previously used paint which is seen by the jeans I painted. In addition I continued using this design element on my top to create a cohesive design.
