Fashion Design Reuse: Digital exhibition of work

“Women in Future” by Zhenzhen Hong (Tina). Fashion Design Reuse Semester 2 2020
You are invited to view a digital exhibition of project outcomes from Fashion Design Reuse – a first year core studio based course in the Bachelor of Fashion (Design).
The exhibition can be viewed at this link: https://fashionandtextiles.education/grap2820-semester-2-2020-gallery/
As a collective these outcomes embody the diverse ways in which students have applied their emerging design skills through experimental practice to demonstrate sustainable design techniques. Fashion Design Reuse introduces the concepts of sustainable practice and fashion innovation through reinvention. Students have learnt to apply sustainable and ethical design theory to the practices of re-design and re-manufacture within an industrial fashion context. The work in this exhibition is also poignant as it was created during such a unique time, as can be seen through the hyper-resourceful use of materials in some projects and the excellent standard of digital documentation.
